Law Abiding Citizen and Reservoir Dogs referenced this film alot.....Its extremely Violent in splits and splurts and too brutal at times...but for once a Action film where the main focus is the plot, Quite realistic too. Very impressive

My favourite accurate portrayal of the U.S. justice system, wherein you and your buddies can kidnap violent punks off the street if they've wronged you, and a judge delivering the wrong verdict can end up as a fatal mistake. A hilarious (read: unintentional) relic of 1980s excess.

When the justice system is corrupt and completely fails to protect people against violent crime, it is time for citizens to balance the books. This one opens up with a great speech from the Hammer and keeps rolling. My favourite Fred Williamson role. I have seen it four times now and it has gotten better each time.
