An entertaining little yarn about...well, vampire lesbians. If you would like to watch a movie about vampire lesbians, I recommend this. Not as...ahem...exciting as Alyssa Milano's infamous vampire nudie flick, but it's enough to keep a warm-blooded man company on a long lonely night.

Gibberish of the highest order - Jesus Franco is an acquired taste at the best of times and here is no different. Worth seeing to study the strange Iberian locations and architecture as well as the typically flamboyant early '70s fashions. It also features the glacial beauty of Soledad Miranda and a odd little soundtrack BUT that is all. A film that cn be quite easily watched on fast forward.

This stylish retro vampire lesbian horror film is a somewhat superior exploitation film owing to its good soundtrack and the mesmerizing acting of Soledad Miranda.

This was not nearly racy enough. I thought of dozens of ways in which blood could have been put to better use; but no, there were merely a few smearings around the lips, wall-trickling, and splatters on the assassin's face when the vampire gets it in the eye.

Jesus Franco isn't a very good filmmaker, but somehow this wasn't too terrible. Listen for some awesome VERY dated 70s music (some appropriately mixed into Jackie Brown), and for both really sexy scenes and horrible vampire bits. It's more of a psychedelic soft-core than a horror flick, and for those looking for a faithful Stoker adaptation might as well chuck the DVD in the air and use it for skeet shooting. If you're curious, watch it once. If not, don't even bother.
