Survival is not enough. Fariba Tabrizi has made it. Under peril of death she has fled from Iran. In Germany she has no alternative way of avoiding the threat of deportation other than to assume the identity of a deceased co-detainee. So what happens after a few month in which she has tried to come to terms with a situation which is actually an insufferable one for her? How does Fariba live not only in this external state of exile but also in an inner state of exile? alman erkeklerine karsi duyduum tiksintiyi istemese de arttirdi bu film, onun disinda basroldeki JT'nin oyunculugunu çok begendim, çok tricky ve zekice yazilmis bir senaryo olma ihtiyaci hissetmeden kadin elinden çiktigi belli, duygusal bir filmdi.

The film's blatant theft of many of Boys Don't Cry's central dramatic sequences is pretty annoying. that said, i enjoyed how the film tackled the worthy subjects of immigration and lgbt refugees, and jasmin tabatabai's soulful, genuine, and technically flawless performance is moving.

unveiled ended before it peaked, or perhaps thats just me wishing for a fairytale ending for 'em. absorbing watch though, one of the more decent ones around.
