While this doc highlights some very real and pressing issues in skateboarding, it's execution is a little off. It seemed the filmmakers used questionable reasoning in their arguments. For example, the VP of marketing from Etnies was framed as not understanding female skaters' needs or not pouring enough resources in to cultivating a new customer base that may or may not be there. From a business standpoint, it would be silly to divert resources from an existing market to attempt to create a new one. They also glossed over the ability gap a bit. Overall, not a bad doc - but should have been about a half hours shorter to better grip the attention of the viewer.
