It is the final weekend of summer and a group of Californian teenagers are looking forward to an upcoming surf contest. This is a formulaic movie, no surprises. It's okay to watch only if there's nothing else to watch.

A light hearted 80's beach movie with yuppies, rebels, bonfires, and a sweet summer romance all revolving around a surf competition. There were a few surprises to watch out for and also a nice added touch was seeing the loveable Keith Coogan who starred in the classic film Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead.

Love it. In the end Nick grows some !@#$% and doesnt care what his friends think of Allie.
