Umrao Jaan (2006)

Bollywood film about the famous courtesan of the title. Aishwarya Rai stars in the lead role. The film is directed by J.P. I liked this movie... But there is nothing like the original... But acting, dancing and singing were all Excellent.

It's so sad her life! it's so dramatic and really touching. i love her costumes and the songs were super pretty. ash did a great job she definetly deserves a film fare award for best actress! shes like devdas some how, except she lived and surrendered to her pain!

Good movie about love and loss, this is the first time I see Abhishek Bachchan acting, he is really good. I give the movie 3 starts because for some reason I did not connect with the characters. Never the less its a good movie to see
