One of the better films out of Bollywood recently, although it is not WOW. But, a solid debut by the director, and a fine debut performance by Rajat Barmecha. Watch it once.

Terrific movie!! A simple story of a boy caught under the clutches of an autocratic father, who is also against his aspiration of being a writer. Amazing direction!!

Wow.... What a movie...one of the best movies of recent times...another offbeat film from the stable of anurag kashyap... I m loving this guy just for the experimentation and risks that he takes... Be it Black Friday, dev d, gulaal and now udaan...a movie featuring many unknowns yet having powerful performances...be it the protagonist or his little brother... Ronit roy as the tyrrant father excels in this role...deserves the best villain award...his character is too stern and never does he show any compassion or evoke any sympathy... Ram kapoor is affable... The movie is loaded with great poems.. Each one having an impactful meaning...one of the best poems hears on screen...music is also good to ears...all in all its a must watch

UTV Spotboy productions has come out with some real classics that may not have commercial clout but will stand out as classics in the long run. I went to this movie since the tickets for inception had run out. The movie turned out to be so powerful that the entire audience stood up for a standing ovation at the end.
