It's one of those overlooked great films that somehow slips under the radar, in this case probably because it's unique as a Western.

A complete wastes of time. Absolutely awful. Can you believe Alfalfa is in it hidden in a hugely laughable caricatured Indian?

A family drama with just a hint of a wild beast on the loose to create some tension. It should be the other way around because it is a weak movie in this form. The major disappointment is the cat itself, unseen and consequently no menace for the audience.

Do you know who's the true villain in this film? No, not Robert Mitchum. It's the youngest son, letting his older brothers hunt the beast by themselves, pretending to be all shy and passive, pretending to care for his brothers when he finds out they have passed away, and planning everything all along just so he can kill the beast himself and prove himself. Look at that demonic smile he makes at the end. Haha. But honestly, this film is overly conservative and over-the-top melodramatic shite.

Great western movie classic. Heart throb, Tab Hunter plays Harold, low esteem, youngest son of the Bridges family. Harold's love for Gwen (Diana Lynn) meets disapproval of matriarch, Ma Bridges (Beulah Bondi). His older brother, Curt, wants Gwen for himself, and sets out to show Gwen what she's missing. Arthur (William Hopper) eldest son, tries to keep the peace. A panther has other ideas;moreover, so does Gwen.
