Don is a real estate salesman who volunteers at a "hotline for hope". Ann, who works in a photo store, has been told by her boyfriend that he doesn't love her anymore and wants to break up. Very nice movie. Lili Taylor character is really interesting. Another movie that makes you thinking about life. Isabel Coixet shows that life can be different with another perspective... it could be light at the end of the tunnel...

Too fucking depressing and dull and grey blehhhhhck. I kind of wanna puke after watching this. It's not a bad movie, I know it's incredibly low budget and I commend the efforts and whatnot...but damn this was just wow...what a depressing story.

Andy McCarthy and Lili Taylor charmed the pants off me in this movie. It had good characters and some good funny parts. I'm surprised I'd never heard of it before now!

Quirky and off-beat enough to avoid sitcom cliches, but while Taylor and McCarthy struggle gamely to bring some humor to roles that call for a great deal of morose posturing the rest of cast simply does what it can with thinly written roles.
