it is exciting with all the gun shooting and fighting scene, but personally prefer previous works of Lam with simple story shaping human characters & behavoir (the contrast is amplified & arouse more sympathy), this one is a bit fancy, nicholas tse acts well

If you've watched enough China/Hong Kong action cinema in your life then all the themes, tropes, and tricks will be very, very familiar. Very. However, it has its charm and is certainly bombastic in its essence. Dante Lam is currently leading the charge of action cinema in C/HK and while it doesn't forge any new territory there is certainly nothing wrong with sticking to the path once and a while.

The Viral Factor wants to be both an action movie and a soap opera. But the merging of the two genres by Dante Lam, a director based in Hong Kong, is clumsy, and so is the film.

Excelente film de acción Hong Kong-Chino. En el cual un grupo terrorista logra mutar una cepa de la viruela que resiste las vacunas y lo que busca es liberarlo al mundo.

Action trumps plot in Hong Kong director Dante Lam's latest thriller about brothers fighting the release of a mutant smallpox virus.
