Chinese action cinema, in general, is over the top, melodramatic, convoluted, and explosive. This fits the bill perfectly. If you love HK film, you'll love what Dante Lam is doing with it.

Finally got to see this... Unoriginal story but action scene after action scene and moved along quite quickly. The cast was good overall except Jay Chou is still playing Jay Chou.

The story does have some emotional touch. But the excessive use of shaky camera and quick cutting just spoiled the geography of nice action sequences, and in the end it just an experiment to proof that it can be better than "The Bourne Ultimatum" (In fact the use of shaky camera in "The Bourne Ultimatum" is way more better than this movie.)

I enjoyed it coz it was decent action. it could of used a bigger budget and a bit more relationship work coz it seemed rushed and very little or brief moments that were suppose to signify bonding. it also felt a bit hollywood. wasn't a bad watch though. good little entertain action flick.
