I do not understand the plot, but I do like that it is not afraid of the taboo of killing many small children in horrific ways - you almost never see that in a horror film! But stop! Then again.. Is this really a horror film or a drama with horror elements? After the end credits started rolling over my television I came to the conclusion, that it was a drama with horror elements and not a horror film. You must be aware of that before, if you have any expectations of watching a new Asian horror film in the style of "Dark Water" and "The Ring" - you will be disappointed. The main character's biggest problem is some traumatizing events in his childhood, that he has forgot and now he is forced to face the truth about his own past and yatayatayata... I was actually bored with this film, but I do like the horror elements which are well-made and clearly where this film's strongholds are - the horror elements. Watch it you want to watch a drama film with some horror elements and some psyched out story of a young man in and his unknown past.

Very disturbing ghost story. There's some images in this one you won't soon be forgetting. As for the story, it's good and the pacing and acting are decent. But boy, when it sets out to freak you out, it really doesn't pull it's punches/

Very good one - once again. Before i found asian vision movies, i didn't like horror movies almost at all. But i've found something pretty incredible from them, after i start watching asian vision horror. This one is good, and i instantly went to the nearest movie store and bought it.

Jeong-won is a man with no memory of his childhood and his real family. At the beginning of the film he witnesses the deaths of two young girls. He begins seeing the girls dead bodies sitting at his kitchen table. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Not a horror but a mystery/drama film about a disturbed woman that will leave you thinking...

The Uninvited is one of the more motif-filled, complicated, and lengthy films that I've seen recently. It really goes to show you that sometimes, you can't just erase people from your life for your convenience. Their presence will remain with you. And sometimes, it's better to let the past remain unknown... The cats, the various children, the vertigo, the table, the well scene... It's amazing how disturbing this movie can be with straightforward, direct moments of... Well... It's not an easy watch.
