The Touch of Satan (1971)

A murderous and decrepit old woman resides on a California walnut farm with her family. On a whim, a traveler named Jodie makes a brief side trip to the farm, where he meets and falls in love with Melissa, the proverbial farmer's daughter. Jodie and Melissa grow closer as Melissa begins to reveal the strange, dark history of her family.

Bad enough to make a really good MST3K- which it is.

One of the best MST3K movies ever skewered. Gets 5 stars because they took it and made it a classic.

Horrible acting, confusion abound, bad editing, overall it's just a horrible movie.

Early seventies horror film that made for a pretty good MST3K episode. On it's own, it's unsettling because of the long pauses between the awkward dialogue. I also never new that I could choose "Walnut Farmer" as a vocation. There are worse movies around, but this isn't all that scary or even atmospheric in that 70s "nothing happens but it's weird" vibe of other films.

I'v seen this particular mst3k episode more than any other and probably more than I should have. CARNATION ICE CREAM! This is where the fish live. In nine months they'll have a litter of jackels.
