Rookie actress Meizi is thrilled to land the job as stunt double for the famous star Bingbing, but the glamorous movie set of Bianhua quickly reveals itself to be a viper's nest of ambition and exploitation. As Meizi navigates the crew's cutthroat "hidden rules" and begins a forbidden romance with Bingbing's boyfriend, she is haunted by the terrifying vision of a vengeful female ghost only she can see. There's not a lot of fresh ground broken here, but the overall cheapie vibe of the film does have a strange charm of its own somehow, with a photographer dreaming he's killing his models and slowly losing it in some gloriously scenery-chewing moments. Rental?

Prostitutes are turning up dead in L.A., and our womanizing jerk of a hero is having dreams about killing models. Are the two related? Predictable, flat, annoying thriller that's like a made-for-TV movie, but with lots of nudity and a little violence. Everything about it rings false and stupid, like the way our hero takes a nice girl to a mud wrestling match on a date.
