The most meaningful autobiography... About a man (with a broken right leg perhaps) trying to fulfill his dreams(which he succeeded in the end).

you just can't get more perfect than jimmy stewart. This may be a drama, but it'll keep you watching the whole way through.. as long as you keep some tissue by your seat...

The Stratton Story is an incredible film. It is about major league pitcher Monty Stratton who loses a leg in a hunting accident. James Stewart and June Allyson give amazing performances. The screenplay is well written. Sam Wood did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of both the drama and romance. The Stratton Story is a must see.

Great biography movie, with a wonderfull performance of James Stewart and June Allyson who did more than just great. The movie doesnt get boring at all.

James Stewart can make any film no matter how sentimental or generic into a great movie and this is no different. This solidifies Stewart as my favorite actor.
