The Song (2014)

Aspiring singer-songwriter Jed King struggles to catch a break and escape the long shadow of his father, a country music legend. After reluctantly accepting a gig at a local vineyard harvest festival, Jed is love-struck by the vineyard owner's daughter, Rose, and a romance quickly blooms. Soon after their wedding, Jed writes Rose "The Song," which becomes a breakout hit. Thrust into a life of stardom and a world of temptation in the form of fellow performer Shelby Bale, Jed's life and marriage begin to fall apart.

Great movie. Edgy and emotional flick that tells the raw truth about the beauty of a great marriage and the tragedy of not valuing you marriage

Raw, real, and romantic. Masterful storytelling from the cinematography, acting, but primarily through the music. The music in fact was like a character in the film.

I think this is the best acted and most "real" Christian movie I've seen. I thought they did a fantastic job of making Biblical scripture come to life in a very real way with very real circumstances. Really impressed and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend for couples and older teens.

Hands down one of the best films I've seen that creatively crafts a story that's engaging, entertaining and most importantly life changing. A must see for everyone. Do not miss this film, it will easily exceed your expectations and you'll even find yourself wanting to bring a friend and see it again.
