This movie restored a bit of my faith in humanity. We can care, we can, we can! Wonderful actors and a wonderful story. The classical music is wonderfully built in to it all. Absolutely adore teh scene where they go to see an orchestra rehearse. That's how I feel sometimes listening to music, so. Wonderful, wonderful movie. I do think taht the fact that it's based on a true story makes it more moving and touching to most people, myself included.

i think The Soloist personally is a wonderful film. I don't see how other people feel "pressured" to feel sad. The story is great! the acting is great! the art behind it is great! I think this movie is misunderstood in many ways. i think people need to appreciate the art behind films more then they do. have an open mind!!

It wasn't until i watched this film that i was able to reach my full critiquing potential. With each thrust of a chellos bow, echos a new sound that expresses our emotions within music. It is those sounds that brought together a society of less fortunate. This film teaches us that we all chose our own paths in life with the pressures of success taunting us. But its the things we enjoy in life that sets us free, much like this critic. It promotes its own self fullfilment within us, reguardless of our differences. "Beautiy is art;music is beauty" This is life and these are the paths we choose to take...
