Slow-moving, not at all scary, and bad string music. The only reason this earned a two is because of the haunted mansion segments of the film.

The cynical should be warned that, as in "Blair Witch," most of the scares depend upon sound and editing rather than elaborate effects, but young director Ti West gets a lot of bang for his meager bucks.

Great start to the film, I loved the late night tv show idea. the movie itself was okay. it was filmed a bit strange, I loved the editing but I would just have to give it two stars because it was a bit boring and strange. The vampires also acted more like zombies.

"Truly exceptional, for a low budget film." It's eary presence and abundance of chilling moments, make for a great b-horror, film.

Crazy film. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Ti west is a great film maker. I recommend this one. Store is good. Very fast paced. Check it out.
