Tiresome comedy as Coltrane is made pope by accident but uncovers corruption in the Vatican Bank and goes about setting things right. But the film is dull and the script needs to be ex-communicated.

a lot of people don't like it because it's based on religion. Idiots, they think that this is against religion.

Let's face it; I have a liking for satire. I liked how the filmmakers make the Pope seem like a real person (the clerk showing all the amenities that come with the papal chambers).
