Interesting concept, was okay but the end wasn't good at all. Still worth watching once.

This movie is under rated. It is classic Japanese horror where really bad things happen to otherwise good people who truly did not have it coming to them unlike the characters in American horror who always have it coming. I am not a big fan of gore porn but I do wish we would of seen a little more blood but that's just my heart for R ratings in horror.

I really liked the movie! I wanted to see a scary movie for a while now and I was pretty scared for the whole time, because the suspense! The last 10 minutes are a bit less scary, but still I was totally wrapped in my blanket, hiding behind my pillow! You should really see the movie!

Oh Netflix, here we are again. Although this time you throw your star boy into a cold little horror game. Okay, I'll bite. Fairly decent character buildup to begin, you meet the family, the scenario is set and away you go. After a tragedy, the remaining mother and son go to try sell their sister's house? Okay then... Oh, and everyone they meet is slightly over the top pushy/creepy/intrusive? Hmm... My problem is length here. You set up well, you begin to tease goings-on and just as we're starting to wonder who it is that's messing with them, you decide to screw it and wipe the slate, thus cheating. There are very few characters built upon where you might've been able to give a more substantial lead away from the typical generic psycho in the house malarchy but you fail to breath life into them other than to say "oh she's nuts and the town is odd". This feels like a waste of time to even incorporate these people. Overall it's a palpable tale with a lackluster ending. Could be better.

A great movie, it really was to my liking, I hope a sequel just as great as this one! I found all the scenes incredible, somewhat predictable but good; The only thing that I did not like 100 percent was the end and the doubt that remained about who was the aggressor.
