I think the biggest problem is that the writers had no idea what type of horror movie they were making and never really resolved it: it's an ineffective ghost/haunting film, hints at being a film about a mentally ill neighbour, but ends up just being an ineffective implacable serial killer film. There's also plenty of elements which are introduced, have no effect on the story and then fade away e.g. Martha.

I really liked the movie! I wanted to see a scary movie for a while now and I was pretty scared for the whole time, because the suspense! The last 10 minutes are a bit less scary, but still I was totally wrapped in my blanket, hiding behind my pillow! You should really see the movie!

I liked the movie, nothing special about it, but I ended up having fun and having moments of tension, the soundtrack can to cause very well the affliction. It's a good movie.
