An amazing, dramatic, funny, thought-provoking movie from the writer of The Exorcist (and, according to the author, the 'true' sequel to that book), The Ninth Configuration defies easy description. It's endlessly quotable, though, and has a jaw-dropping bar fight near the end.

I absolutely love this movie. It's constantly switching between deadly serious drama and weird Blake Edwards-esque comedy. Criminally underrated, with an unforgettable fight scene.

One of the best movies ever. A terrific mixture of comedy and suspense with interesting plot twists. A nice attempt at looking at the both the darker side of human nature and juxtaposing it with the very human trait of self sacrifice for the benefit of others.
