I actually love this movie! I would say give it a shot despite the reviews! This movie is amazing! One of my favs. This movie shows how LA is and how people will literally eat you alive. This movie had me thinking about it a month after watching! Love love love! Great cinematography as well!

Winding Refn is the Lynch of our times. He is a complete visionary and he is one of the very true last artists who are able to balance the knife between Hollywood success and independent cinema.

Yet slow, bizarre and a film not for the faint at heart, this film is a visual treat about the modeling industry's superficiality and dog-eat-dog attitude taken to the literal just as much as figurative senses.
