La trama comienza cuando el jóven Tin Tan Rico le dice a su padre que no desea continuar la carrera en ingenieria ni vestir a la antigua. Que lo de el es la cantadera, la bailadera y la pachuquería. El padre lo bota de la casa y Tin Tan se queda vagabundo. En busqueda de trabajo, llega a una mansión donde es confundido por ser el dueño de esta y las peripecias que ocurren cuando el y el verdadero dueño de la mansión (Marcelo Chávez) se juntan en la película y en la cantada. Esta es la primera película de papel principal y aquí se ve a un Germán Valdés jovencito y encantador. La música es excelente.
