The Lazarus Effect (2015)

Medical researcher Frank, his fiancee Zoe and their team have achieved the impossible: they have found a way to revive the dead. After a successful, but unsanctioned, experiment on a lifeless animal, they are ready to make their work public. However, when their dean learns what they've done, he shuts them down. Zoe is killed during an attempt to recreate the experiment, leading Frank to test the process on her. Zoe is revived -- but something evil is within her.

It was good for a pg 13 movie. Made you jump in a few scenes. I enjoyed it.

I'm a horror fan, and usually I look for the plot of the story rather than the camera angle and stuff like that. Yes, it was a bit slow at first, but I still was engaged with what was happening. It gave me a back-up story and showed the process of what was happening. I loved the ending where things go out of hand, and I myself had my heart beating fast as I waited to see what was happening and who was going to be killed. And the twisted ending was great as well. That scared me, and that's what I really look for in a horror movie. It's good for halloween or sleepovers.

it's not all great, but his movie packs a daring, scary good time!

I really liked it, but what you see is what you get. Not a very deep or thought provoking horror flick.
