I thought this movie was pretty good. Similar subject mater the 'The Happening'. My one complaint would be the poorly animated ghost creatures. that took away from the mystique of the story.

Come for the eerie unworldly menace, but stay for the well-balanced currents of terror that manages to sustain itself throughout the film.

-oil is actually composed of dead animals and plants (and people?), that makes them grave robbers in a sense.

I really liked this up until the last 5 or so minutes. It was really working for me up until then. I think Fessenden might be a good one to look out for in the future.

Intelligent and character-driven horror from Larry Fessenden ("Wendigo").Truly unsetteling and frightening. A great little film!
