A film that proved to be a humorous respite from current world events, Linda Yellen demonstrated creativity, as well as vision, in making this film happen. It was irreverent, outlandish, fun, kitsch and a true parody of the human behavior. The only bit of melancholy was to know that Dennis Hopper did not live to experience the final product.

The Last Film Festival is a well-paced, low-key comedic gem along the same vein as 2004's Napolean Dynamite. The laughs are bountiful, thanks to Dennis Hopper's good delivery and the supporting casts' commitment to each scene. A low-budget flick with big-budget charm. 100% worth checking out for fans of indie comedies.
