The Karate Killers (1967)

International spies Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin travel around the globe in an effort to track down a secret formula that was divided into four parts and left by a dying scientist with his four of five daughters, all of whom live in different countries. His widow, Amanda, is murdered at the beginning by the counter-spies of the organization THRUSH. Evil THRUSH agent Randolph also wants the formula, and is aided by his karate-chopping henchmen.

good spy thriller based on the wonderful TV series 'the man from u.n.c.l.e.'

Also known as "The Five Daughters Affair" parts one and two, this sees the U.N.C.L.E. agents Napolean Solo (Robert Vaughn) and Illya Kuryakin (David McCallum) on a global quest to stop a THRUSH agent - guest star Herbert Lom - from gaining a formula to extract gold from seawater. Memorable for it's portrayal of Swinging London featuring both Terry-Thomas and Jill Ireland, the opening sequence is also fun as a squadron of THRUSH gyrocopters ambush the agents on a lonely mountain highway. Features two future James Bond heavies with Curd Jurgens and Telly Savalas joining Joan Crawford on the guestlist.

Spin off from the man from U.N.C.L.E series, this is a nice little tongue in cheek spy comedy drama.

Another unfathomable plot, another ninety minutes of stock footage interspersed with back projection and a slew of oddly-cast cameo appearances (Joan Crawford as a teary widow, Terry-Thomas as a London copper). Mindless bubble gum.

Exactly the same as the television series in its production, but cut together into a feature length episode. It's a pretty dull one too, which is a shame as this arguably has the best eclectic mix of big screen names on show for this story.
