A very fine sequel. Vincent Price fills the shoes of Claude Rains nicely and adds a more sympathetic spin to his incarnation of the title character. Like the original it also benefits from a great supporting cast, especially Hardwicke and Kellaway. There are some truly powerful moments and the scene with the scarecrow is very poigiant.

This sequel to the original Invisible Man has Dr. Jack Griffin's brother also experimenting with invisibility, and he uses on a man wrongfully accused of murder. The Invisible Fugitive is played by Vincent Price, who is a great figure of the horror genre in his own right. The effects remain quite timeless and seamless, and Price's voice lends itself well to the material (he really did have one of the all-time great voices). Nice follow-up to the original, though like most sequels it doesn't work quite as well as the original.

Nowhere near as dark and moody as the first one, but still plenty of fun. Interesting to see (or . . . not see, I guess . . .) Vincent Price in such an early role.
