de los mejores cuentos infantiles, bien lograda animación, la narración de Helena Bonham Carter que toca las fibras del corazón y la música fantástica

I really do think this has the potential to become a classic children's short in the same vein of the ones I watched as a child. Maybe not on par with the Dr. Seuss stuff, but still up there. It really is just a lovely little movie. It can move a bit slow, but it has such a great atmosphere, gorgeous music, and some rather beautiful animation. The animation is somewhat noteworthy, as if you look at any individual screencap of the movie it doesn't seem like much. I don't know what it is, but watching it all in motion, it just looks so good. A simple movie, a simple message, but a nice little excursion through the woods.

If you love the book (or your kids do), you'll love this.

This is one of the short animated films that are nominated for an Oscar this year. I have seen two other ones as well, but they aren't featured on RT yet, so I'll have to wait with ratings for those two for now.

The book was a wonderful little story for children and the film does it total justice. It can keep children (and myself) with a short attention span quite easily mesmerised for the 25 minute duration.... over and over again.
