The Grand Seduction (2014)

A small fishing village must procure a local doctor to secure a lucrative business contract. When unlikely candidate and big city doctor Paul Lewis lands in their lap for a trial residence, the townsfolk rally together to charm him into staying. Wonderful feel good movie. It's light and fun in its presentation, but reminds us of needing both a purpose and a place to belong. I didn't expect much when I threw this in, but I really enjoyed this movie.

We wanted a funny, no brain power required movie to watch on a Friday evening after a long, long week. This movie fit the bill perfectly. The bad jokes made you grin and the good ones had us laughing out loud.
