Sachiko Hanai is a call girl. One day she is caught up in a gunfight and is shot in the forehead. Instead of killing her, the bullet in her head gives her psychic powers. Wow. I guarantee this is the only film you'll ever see where a clone of George W. Bush's finger has sex with a call girl. Yup. It's also got some absurdly copious amount of female nudity, projectile ejaculations (including one POV facial!) and a heroine that walks around with a bullet hole in her head and eats books. It's original to say the least and plays like some amalgamation of equal parts political era Godard, Russ Meyers sexploitation flicks and some good ol' Miike shock value. It doesn't always succeed and it can get quite tedious towards the end but I can't say I know of anything else remotely like it.

Sounds awesome, but it's really boring. Political commentary pitched at a sub-Benny Hill level. If this is the best of Japanese "pink films," we're probably better off not seeing much of them.

Truth be told, Sachiko Hanai is probably an accomplished "pink film"; just don't mistake it for something classier.

Intended as pornography, but not sexy at all. However, it is absolutely hilarious, and worth seeing just for the rape scene involving a cloned finger of G.W. Bush.
