interesting film, the film is good an evoking an emotional response but at times i felt the plot line was rather hollow, linear, and rather simple

A heart warming story about a little boy learning about his roots and his native american culture from his grandparents. I didnt cry at the end, but my eyes were a little misty. An amazing film for the whole family:fresh:

Mark Isham did the music. Forrest Carter wrote the book as well as Gone to Texas, which became Josey Wales.

What a terrific movie--hauting locations and scenery, delightful story (and by & large, a true story)--definitely worth buying so as to watch numerous times, and share with friends and family.

Saw it back in 3rd grade and hated it, so slow and just not a good movie.
