The Demolisher (2015)

Bruce is a repairman tormented by a crippling sense of responsibility for his disabled wife Samantha, an ex-policewoman. Bruce's increasing hypersensitivity to the injustice suffered by his wife steers him down a dark path of vigilantism. His disintegrating mental health, paranoia and overwhelming sense of doom causes Bruce to channel his rage towards a young woman.

Muddled storytelling is the primary reason why this generally undercooked vigilante flick ends up a bit flat.

The Demolisher was a visually striking film. I found that there were way too many fade out transitions however, like every 6-7 minutes I felt, it was just too much and didn't look nice. I did enjoy the cinematography and the synth music, which gave it that Carpenter-esque feel.
