Damn this one killed me. I just watched it, so I wanted my thoughts to be fresh. Audrey is simply the best, I certainly didn't expect MacLaine's character to feel that way for her. I was wondering where it was all going to lead throughout the movie, and the ending was very powerful. It's funny because I didn't realize she was gonna off herself until the same moment Audrey did. I think Wyler is brilliant, I knew I would like this movie.

A powerful character piece. It's a wonder the leads never got nominated here..it was well deserving of it's 5 nominations, but overall deserved a lot more. One of the many classics with Audrey Hepburn.

Tought subject matter for the time. Preceded by 1936's "These Three," a watered down version. Karen Balkin was particularly awesome as bratty, deceitful Mary Tilford.

This is very special to me because i actually had the oppurtunity to play marie her character was tough to pull off but i got to stretch and become more versatile as an actress.

I just love this film. The subject matter still amazes me for the time it was made, but maybe that just means that I have to watch more films from the 60's.
