Solid film noir, great score, good cinematography. Robert Cummings may not have been the best person for the lead role, but the supporting cast is very good. Suspenseful and interesting.

This film noir is memorable for its dark dream-like feel, as reality becomes indistinguishable from the dream sequences.

Superior surreal, dreamy B grade noir. Really dark cinematography and fantastically cool and creepy performance from Lorre. An early example of slipstream, where reality and dream are indistinguishable a la Memento, Lost Highway etc.
