I agree with the general consensus. An engaging, deeply layered documentary of homosexuality in cinema that is not whiny or pretentious.

This is a bit dated now but very in depth it should be required in high school .

This was a powerful presentation of the struggle of the gay and lesbian character to be portrayed without bias, condemnation, and FEAR in movies. Watching this made me want to revisit the films I've seen so I can see them through different eyes.
