Not their best collaboration, but an acceptable final curtain for the duo on the big screen.

I really don't think Fred and Ginger were made for over-the-top MGM-style musicals. Especially not Ginger. The plot kind of sucks, which is true of almost all F&G vehicles, but you notice it more here because the song and dance scenes aren't worth the wait.

Not Fred and Ginger's best, but you really can't go wrong with them. I love their dynamic in this. It's kind of like watching their characters from Swing Time or Shall We Dance 10 years down the road.
