The story is simple [...] and the acting is brilliant, but the pace and style of The Bachelors may be too depressing to appeal to the Instagram set.

I think the greatest achievement of this film and films like this in general is not that they should try to get out of the box, but to at least have solidity within that box.

The character [Josh Wiggins and Odey Arush] play and the relationship they develop are honest and poignant in the best sense, which is a good description of the film as a whole.

Not a Comedy. quite sad in general, but ultimately a decent movie. Low rating due to the fact it's NOt a comedy.

David Parkinson 29 Mar 2018

Writer/director Kurt Voelker proves that novelty isn't everything in this deceptively affecting study of male grief.
