My kids picked this movie, and it was ok. It had an interesting premise, quite unique, but the story was quite flat and repetitive. Once you see him use his powers, it gets old real fast...still, the kids loved it so that's saying something.

This is a weird movie about a boy who has the power to make food appear in his hands. Unique but weird. But the movie was good.

'The Adventures of Food Boy'...what words can I say that can even describe the foolish, horrendously lazy, and time-wasting experience that one will feel from watching it? If anything, the act of me placing my hands to my face is, put simply, the best way that I can summarize a film in which the very food it used some of its budget on was wasted on juvenile 'entertainment' instead of (I put quotes around entertainment because this film is like watching keys being dangled in front of your face) providing the food to the less wealthy. If I was allowed to include a visual of me burying my face into my hands onto this text review- I would. Seriously, this is another we-can-dumb-this-film-down-because-it's-just-for-kids film. Skip it, skip it, skip it.

At the height of High School Musical popularity, Grabeel chose to do this? Wow, not the brightest career move. This movie is odd but not in a creative way, more of a "whatever made them think of this?" way. The acting is south of good, the story is ridiculously silly and the characters are cardboard cutouts incapable of growth. Brittany Curran is cute though.
