I thought that this was a very well done movie altogether. The separation of the true soldier to the duranged soldier to the coward was exquisite. The acting was pretty good and everything was in fact blown out of proportion but it was just to show the forms of the people in military. The plot was very witty and extremely well done!

Military cadets take extreme measures to insure the future of their academy when its existence is threatened by local condo developersAn announcement that the venerable Bunker Hill Military Academy, a 141 year old institute, is to be torn down and replaced with condos sets off the young cadets led by their stodgy commander. Under the command of a student cadet major, the cadets seize the campus, refuse entry of the construction crews and ultimately confront the real military.

Great plot, but it didn't turn out. Nonetheless we meet some future stars.

It is amazing the number of still to be come star there were in this movie. Sean Pen, Tom Cruise, Timothy Hutton. This movie at the time filled my head with lots of idealism about standing your ground, and death before dishonor and all that kind of crap. It took me years to deprogram myself from it. A good movie in it's time
