Quite terrific. No need to see the Killing Fields to enjoy, but it doesn't hurt. Gray is a master of storytelling and can inspire vivid visualizations at the drop of a hat...or the launch of a banana.

Drew me in so easily. I was really surprised at how interested I was in everything he had to say! His unique views on absolutely everything were so refreshingly funny and forced you to question your own outlooks. Really neat

If a certain someone sees this they are bound to remind me that I fell asleep for the last 15 min or so, but that was really about 100% more my failiings than Spalding's

I became a fan of the late Spalding Gray after watching the second of the filmed monologues 'Monster in a Box' (which isn't on Flixter). This is the first one and while I didn't enjoy it as much as 'Monster...', it still is great and I still absolutely love this guy. It really is a shame that this genius is still not around. I salute you Spalding Gray!
