Driving cross-country to a job interview, Colin takes a short cut and comes across a fatal road accident. One of the drivers, Jina, is shaken but unhurt; the other has been killed instantly. A confident and exciting genre film, and that's certainly not nothing, but it has a slight impersonality that marks it as either a calling card or a work for hire.

If you can grin and bear the fact something always comes up to replace the previous problem just solved, there is entertainment to be had.

Once that body tumbles down the mine shaft, we're in a different -- and inferior -- movie.

Not brilliant but doesn't slow down long enough to let you notice its absurdity.

Like an Aussie version of U Turn, just not as tight. Small scale with good production values, it's an hour and a half of slightly disappointing dumb fun after the promising initial tease.
