One of my favourite films this year. Watched three times ,in a month, with different friends. All agreed, it's a cracker !

Its writer/star has the charm and warmth to keep this muso fairy tale on the tracks and there are entertaining spot-the-rocker cameos galore.

A film of jumbled and often heavy handed cliches that dragged on and on and on. The ending is also incredibly light weight and disappointing...

Cliched and terrible writing, giving some talented actors no-where to go - wants to be a Shane Meadows film but fails miserable. Who told Alan McGhee it would be a good idea for him to act ?
