I liked the surfing aspect of the documentary but I can't say I agree with their lifestyle choices. To send your kids into the "real world" with no formal education or even knowledge of how the "real world" works is kind of messed up. And then to not want to associate with your children because they wanted to grow up and find there own way...also pretty shitty. All-in-all, it is nice to see a different perspective on raising kids (whether I agree or not).

Amazing. Brilliantly sad and uplifting... an incredible message to the rest of America who is happily living their same ol' lives and not pursuing their true heart's desire. But this film doesn't stop there... it goes on to describe the pain, the cost that one pays when those dreams are pursued... really, an amazing family and man. Inspiring!

This is a must see! Dont miss this gem of a film. There is something available here that money cant buy .You just couldnt make this stuff up. The real deal!!
