Excellent!!! A very raw movie, no extra packaging, just the content. It is presented beautifully in the rustic 80's platter. Jai the lead actor has proven his talent. Director cum Actor Sasi Kumar is too good. Ganja Karpu, is apt for that role. Must watch for movie lovers!!

If you liked Veyyil, i'm sure you'll like this movie as well. The betrayals are the BEST part of the movie- otherwise it would have been a flop with a pseudo happy ending. It's realistic and makes you think about your own life. Can you say that about any SRK movie?

After "Kaathal", "Veyyil" and "Paruthiveeran", the latest in the string of Tamil neo "neo-realism" movies. The setting is rural, actors are mostly untrained and unseen, the look is raw and the techniques are quite contemporary. The story is more usual than the usual and the performances nothing special. Still, the movie has a genuine feel and rawness that only a talented film-maker can achieve. The attention to details, for an Indian commercial movie, is really laudable. It is true to life, down to earth and watchable. No wonder theatres are overflowing and the film is turning out to be a blockbuster in the midst of superstar mania. Gladdening to see craftsmanship and raw talent reminiscent of the 1980s back in Tamil Cinema.
