Original, hilarious, and surprisingly poignant, this movie succeeds as both a comedy and a drama. Intelligent and shockingly well-acted, excepting for one section towards the end where the story breaks down as the writer tries too hard to compromise between viewpoints.

I wanted to really like this, because the acting is good and the characters are rich and likeable. But somehow it didn't quite hit the mark. It's not bad, but it could have been better. Worth seeing once, but I won't be likely to remember it.

This movie was very surprising. I liked the story idea and the cast was great together. I do so love an ending that I don't see coming from a mile away.
