Rick is frustrated by the repetitious grind of one-night stands and aimless hustling. Whilst looking for more to his life he meets Heather, a neighbour. hmmm. what do i say? throughout the movie the amateur-seeming camera angles and edits (people's heads missing, not cutting to the person talking) had me feel frustrated and distracted. ...but half way into the film i started to feel touched by vin diesels' bravery - that is :i felt like the dialogue meant something to him - and that in the movie was a message he was wanting to communicate to men. maybe i am totally wrong about that - and am jumping to conclusions because i had read that he had been a bouncer for a number of years - and could imagine women hitting on him... anyway - despite a few incongruities in the main characters' behaviour (eg. unforeto-seen sudden violence in front of the "classy" girlfriend) i found the movie kind of interesting...

This movie had undertones from 8 Mile but showed a different type of struggle between the main character and his past. It was nice to see Vin Diesel do well in a movie where no one died.

Entertaining enough drama from actor/writer/director Vin Diesel. Fast and the Furious was better.

It was ok. I was into it at some points, and others it couldn't hold my attention. The acting wasn't anything Oscar worthy, but there was some effort in it. Vin did a good job on it though. The film had a really cool vibe. He did a good job directing and it wasn't bad for an indie film.....

This movie was ridiculous...but I'm not sure what else to expect from a movie written, directed and produced by Vin Diesel
