It had potential and was definitely disturbing, but poor writing and lazy directing kept this from being anything more than low-budget exploitation. Uwe Boll always finds a way to take mediocrity to the extreme.

Brutal and torturous unimaginable horror. It pisses me off how people can do this to another human being and how the guards dont come to see what all the noise is about so they can stop it. Great performnaces from lead actors though!!

Miraculously, Uwe Boll has finally made a film that isn't only tolerable, but actually halfway good - it's pretty well directed, the cast do an alright job, and the plot is gritty and disturbing. Miles better than anything else Boll has done.

By now, everybody knows that Uwe Boll is considered the worst director since Ed Wood. Imagine the surprise when this man delivers a really interesting movie about four incarcerated men playing a game of poker that starts a series of incredibly humiliating and brutal events. By far Boll's best film, and a well deserved three stars.
