This is an excellent documentary that was created by a wonderful and very talented group of people.

makes me remember all the lost souls i worked with in psych case management & wonder what happened to them. it breaks my heart to see how many people failed him. his eyes looked so vacant and sad - it's not fair he didn't have a better chance at life and those around him could not give him that.

Powerful stuff. As unsettling a documentary as there could ever be.

Funny thing about this film, you really don't want to like stevie and what he does, but you do end up liking him and feeling sorry for him and his family

While ostensibly about how the System failed Stevie, this documentary is, of course, really about James who frets, ad nauseam, about his own motives in imposing himself on Stevie and his dysfunctional family.
