Without the Marx Brothers, the music improves but the comedy proves witless.

While this remake of Room Service (1938) doesn't have the Marx Brothers, it does have Frank Sinatra, Adolphe Menjou, Gloria De Haven and Eugene Pallette and a plethora of humor. Some may have a hard time swallowing Frank Sinatra as a wide-eyed innocent.

Minor but entertaining musical, nothing about the films stands out, but Frank Sinatra does quite well and it has a good supporting cast. Some good, but not very memorable songs and musical numbers.
