For a while, Tom Jane has been building up quite the resume. No only does he make movies, he makes them sleeper hits. You know, the type an average movie fan might overlook very easily because the movie did not make it to number 1 for the week it came out. This one is not to be missed by those who like love heist movies.

Jane is terrific in this true story of a cop-turned-bank-robber in Apartheid-era South Africa. Bronwen Hughes handles the character interplay well and the setting is excellent. There's a truncated feeling to the middle (over-editing?), but this is a fun, well considered film. Even the accents are spot on.
